This is the so dubbed Yummy fruit - which Brooke momentarily thought was the actual name. No, just a description, such as "green donut" and "jelly drink" etc... Actual name: Mangosteen. But yummy nonetheless.

And another view - this one with the traditional Thai house. I worked with a Phillipino sister in the English territory who had been in Thailand 3 weeks but had yet to see housing other than the tall apartment buildings! What a loss! There are several back in our neighborhood that are quite nice - and one that is an international law office.
Our breakfast the first day - noodle soop with sprouts and chicken and lime and cilantro and deliciousness. It's so good! Unfortunately we're still a little unsure of how to order it, heh heh.
